How It Works

We will deep clean your carpet with the most powerful cleaning method, truckmounted Hot Water Extraction, commonly know as "Steam Cleaning". Using our high powered equipment together with our unique process insures that your carpets will dry soft and fresh, in the shortest possible time, typically between 2 to 6 hours.

Pet urine stains can often be removed or reduced greatly with our "Deluxe Treatment". Dog and cat odors will also be reduced or eliminated with this process.

We don't use toxic or overly harsh chemicals, Your safety, as well as ours is very important to us. If you have any concerns or sensitivities, please let us know and we will use the safest, odor free products and that are GreenSeal approved yet still VERY effective.

We leave no sticky residue behind that can attract soil like a magnet. Zero residue means your carpet will stay cleaner longer.

We will even extract and remove most of the chemicals left behind by previous carpet cleanings, resolve and other widely used sticky spot cleaners and home remedies.

Our process insures great results every time.

1. Inspect and Protect- A plan is made to increase the efficiency of the job and any issues are addressed. Corner guards and blankets are placed wherever needed to protect your home.

2. Pre-spot- Any potentially hard to remove spots are treated early to allow time for the product to break it down prior to extraction.

3. Pre-treat- We custom blend a pre-spray that is tailored to your particular carpet to break the bonds between the soils and carpet fibers and "suspend" them making them easier to remove.

4. Agitation- A carpet rake (or power scrubbing machine for our Deluxe Cleaning) is used to work the pre-spray into the fibers making the next step easy. This is a very important yet often skipped step, Image washing your hair without working in the shampoo.

5. Rinse and Extract- The carpet is rinsed and extracted simultaneously with a carpet wand or rotary extractor. Because we don't skip steps 2 and 5, very little water is needed to rinse out completely. We do not soak carpets like many dry carpet cleaners would like you to think. Typical drying time is 2 to 6 hours.
6. Post-spot- Any spots that were not removed are treated once again. We typically remove 90% of common spots. Some Spots such as red spots, pet stains, mustard, make-up etc. may be difficult or impossible to remove. There may be an extra charge for these types of stains but the fee will be waived if we are not successful removing it. As a last resort we could cut a small piece from a hidden area and use it to repair the damaged section for a small fee.
7. Grooming- By default, we will leave the diamond or "sharktooth" pattern in your carpet. It proves that we didn't miss any areas and is easily removed by the next vacuuming. If you prefer, we can remove the pattern or "groom" the carpet fibers with a special brush for no extra charge.
8. Protector (Optional)-  Your choice of ScotchGard or Green Guard fabric protector can be applied to your carpet and/or upholstery to help protect it from future staining, to make vacuuming more efficient, and keep it looking clean longer, often extending the life of the carpet of furniture.
